Well, it was bound to happen in this day and age of decaffinating horror film remakes…but as a huge fan of the original Fright Night….this sucks! Now granted, it’s been rated PG-13 for “bloody horror violence and language including some sexual references”, and all things considered, the original Fright Night wasn’t THAT graphic, earning its R-Rating probably more for the nudity and language than anything else, as the violence and gore wasn’t exactly that bad. However, I can’t help but feel like they’re aiming for the Twilight crowd by watering down a sure-fire winner here (the icy-blue tint hanging over it doesn’t exactly make me feel otherwise).
