Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend in October is one of the top horror conventions in the country. Today Spooky Empire announced that it will be doing two shows a year with the announcement of “Spooky Empire’s Mayhem” which will take place May 27-29, 2011 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The Mayhem show will be a smaller version of the October show and will feature guests that are hard to book during the month of October. This new show promises to include all the fun and parties that the October show is famous for. Here is the official announcement:
“Everyone at Spooky Empire would like to thank you for supporting our event year after year. So we decided to do something over the top, and the only way to do it is to add a second show!
There are a lot of great guests that we’ve never been able to attain because the October dates never coincide with their schedules. So our goal is to bring in some of those guests we’ve never had before that you, the fans, have been asking for over the years. The Wyndham decided that they would like to thank you all too by offering an amazing rate for this event of $59 a night!
This show will have a slightly different format than our October show, but we guarantee, as always, you will be partying like never before!
The website will be launched right after Ultimate Horror Weekend in October, and guests will be announced at the show!”

I have attended the “Horror convention” in Orlando since its beginning. Also when it started in Fort Lauderdale. I am excited and looking forward to this years event and meeting Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Englund, and the other famous guests. The “Freak Show Horror Film Festival” is a super event.
